The Bath Elementary is a two story brick masonry school built in 1936. The Bath Elementary School consists of two levels, with two small basement areas partially below grade. There is a separate bus garage building behind the school, which had several spaces converted to classrooms in 1954, and some of the bays were renovated for a new library in 1999. A two-story classroom addition was added onto the south of the original building in 1952, in addition to a new kitchen built onto the west of the original building. Finally, a two-story classroom wing was added on the north side of the original school, and a new cafeteria was built connected to the 1952 kitchen.
The existing system for the 1936 original building and 1952 south addition is a gas-fired steam system. The existing system for the 1959 addition is a gas fired hot water system. The facility is not equipped with a central air conditioning system.
The electrical system provided to the overall facility is a 400 amp. 120/240 volt three wire system. The panel system cannot be expanded to add additional capacity.
The district bus garage is located behind the school to the west, and the maintenance building is to the north. The main entrance drive is off the street to the south of the school. The bus and car drop off/pick-up is located in the parking lot to the north and west of the school.
